(Hartford, CT) – The Connecticut Department of Revenue Services (DRS) is reminding municipalities that the application deadline to submit locally approved Neighborhood Assistance Act project proposals is Friday, July 31, 2020.
In recognition of the impact of COVID-19, Acting Commissioner of Revenue Services John Biello approved an extension of the application deadline – from July 1st to July 31, 2020 - to give municipalities additional time to complete and submit their applications to DRS. This date change for municipalities applies to 2020 Neighborhood Assistance Act proposals only.
A complete municipal application package, which includes evidence of a local legislative body's public hearing and approval, and other required documentation, should be e-mailed to NAAProgram@ct.gov.
