9/28/2020

(Hartford, CT) - The Connecticut Department of Revenue Services (DRS) is reminding taxpayers of an upcoming filing and payment due date for certain state taxes, including taxes for businesses and bulk filers that will be filed electronically via myconneCT, the agency's new, online portal launched earlier this month.

myconneCT is a major component of the initial phase of the agency's multi-year modernization initiative that will improve the customer's experience and deliver additional, user-friendly features to taxpayers.

The following state taxes administered by DRS must be filed and paid electronically through myconneCT on or before Wednesday, September 30, 2020:

  • Sales and Use/Business Use
  • Withholding
  • Room Occupancy (B&B Occupancy)
  • Prepaid Wireless E 9-1-1 Fee
  • Admissions and Dues
  • Tourism Surcharge
  • Rental Surcharge
  • Dry Cleaning Surcharge

Taxpayers can create a myconneCT username immediately to ensure timely filing of their returns. For more myconneCT information, FAQs, tutorials, and to start filing visit: portal.ct.gov/DRSmyconneCT.
