Gov. Malloy: Improved New Haven Line Schedule Will Reduce Crowding and Increase Convenience
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced improvements to the recently enacted New Haven Line train schedules. The enhanced schedule is aimed at reducing crowding on trains and increasing convenience. Governor Malloy also announced that the Waterbury Branch morning express train to Stamford will be restored this coming Monday, June 9.

Gov. Malloy: Connecticut Making Significant Progress in Addressing Global Warming
Governor Dannel P. Malloy said that Connecticut is making significant progress in reducing statewide emissions of harmful greenhouse gases (GHGs) to meet requirements set in state law, citing a report issued today by the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) that details the state’s progress toward meeting the statutory mandate to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to 10% below 1990 levels by 2020, and 80% below 2001 levels by 2050.

Gov. Malloy Announces Early Completion of I-84 Bridge Replacement Project in Southington
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the Connecticut Department of Transportation's (CTDOT) weekend bridge replacement project of I-84 over Marion Avenue in Southington is virtually complete with I-84 EB opening at 4:30 PM today - 12-plus hours ahead of schedule. Interstate 84 Westbound, also well ahead of schedule, is tentatively set to open between 7 and 8 PM.
