In a brief filed with the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority today, Attorney General George Jepsen said that the electric utility’s application should be rejected and, based on the evidence, UI’s distribution rates should decrease, not increase.

Attorney General Jepsen Reaches Settlement with Citibank on Online Credit Card System Security
Citibank N.A. will pay $55,000 to the state of Connecticut and will obtain a third-party data security audit of its online credit and debit card account system under a settlement filed in court today, Attorney General George Jepsen has announced.

Attorney General Jepsen Names New Associate AG for Administration and Management
Attorney General George Jepsen has named Assistant Attorney General Antoria D. Howard of Bloomfield as Associate Attorney General for Administration and Management. Assistant Attorney General Ann E. Lynch will assume the role of head of the Employment Rights Department.
