    Attorney General George Jepsen and state Department of Consumer Protection (DCP) Commissioner William M. Rubenstein announced today that Connecticut, along with 49 other states and the District of Columbia, has reached a settlement with mobile telephone company T-Mobile USA to resolve allegations that the company improperly engaged in "data cramming."

    Attorney General George Jepsen, Chief State’s Attorney Kevin T. Kane and state Department of Social Services (DSS) Commissioner Roderick L. Bremby announced today that Connecticut has joined a federal-state settlement with Shire Pharmaceuticals, LLC to resolve allegations that the company inappropriately marketed Adderall XR, Vyvanse, Daytrona, Lialda and Pentasa for conditions not approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

    Attorney General George Jepsen and state Department of Consumer Protection Commissioner William M. Rubenstein today announced that Connecticut has joined a $750,000 multistate settlement with digital advertising company PointRoll, Inc. that resolves an investigation into whether the company violated consumers' privacy by unlawfully circumventing the privacy settings in Apple Inc.'s Safari Web browser.

    The state Public Utilities Regulatory Authority will receive $4.5 million for consumer assistance and education and enforcement activity related to third-party electric suppliers under a settlement agreement with electric supplier Energy Plus Holdings, LLC, Attorney General George Jepsen and Consumer Counsel Elin Swanson Katz said today.
