Malloy will hold a news conference in New Haven to announce details of the expansion of the state’s Elderly Renters’ Rebate Program, which provides a direct reimbursement to lower-income elderly or 100 percent disabled renters to help offset a portion of their rent and utility expenses.

Malloy will hold a ceremony in Weston to commemorate the enactment of a new state law that allows qualified school employees to administer the life-saving treatment epinephrine (commonly known as “EpiPens”) for emergency first aid to any students who may experience a severe allergic reaction and were not previously known to have serious allergies.
