How we watch over Connecticut’s financial systems
The Office of Finance is responsible for strengthening the financial practices of state agencies. Our teams work to:
- Help agencies follow State Single Audit rules
- Review town and city finances
- Support the MARB and MFAC municipal oversight boards
- Set rules and give training for Purchase of Service (POS) and Personal Service Agreements (PSA)
- Run the state IT funding program
- Set rules for how the state uses technology
- Run the STARS reporting system
