Discover what OPM does for you
The Office of Policy and Management (OPM) gives information and advice to help make policies for the State, its agencies, and towns.
Our programs help the people of Connecticut, because at OPM we help state agencies:
- Develop the Governor’s budget proposal
- Administer the state budget after the General Assembly approves it
- Work with other agencies to strengthen services, and ensure taxpayer dollars are spent appropriately
- Develop policies that assist state government work quickly and efficiently
- Administer tax relief, grants, and financial oversight
OPM has eight divisions that report to the Office of the Secretary. Learn more about the programs and services we provide.
