Gov. Malloy Announces 'Q Bridge' to be Lit Red, White, and Blue for Veterans Day
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge in New Haven - informally known as the Q Bridge - will be lit red, white, and blue on the nights of Thursday, November 10, and Friday, November 11, in observation of Veterans Day. Beacons capable of projecting light nearly six miles into the clear night sky will be lit until 1:00 a.m. during those nights.

Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman today hosted a roundtable discussion on House Bill 5054, An Act Protecting Victims of Domestic Violence, Governor Dannel P. Malloy's legislative proposal to protect domestic violence victims by prohibiting anyone subject to a temporary restraining order from possessing firearms.
