Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman today announced that in the coming weeks they will launch another series of town hall forums to discuss a wide variety of the state's issues face-to-face with residents, with a particular focus on the budget.

Gov. Malloy Introduces Commonsense Gun Violence Prevention Legislation
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that he is sponsoring legislation designed to protect the victims of domestic violence by prohibiting possession of firearms for anyone who becomes subject to a temporary restraining order, eliminating a critical window of time during which time a victim's life could be at risk.

Statements on Federal Guidelines Regarding the Rights of Transgender Youth in Schools

Lt. Governor Wyman Invites Public to Honor Fallen Troops at 9th Annual Wall of Honor Ceremony
On Thursday, May 26, 2016, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman and radio personality Brad Davis will host the 9th annual Wall of Honor ceremony at the Capitol in Hartford. Joined by Governor Dannel P. Malloy, Major General Thad Martin, state officials, and military families, the event memorializes the 65 Connecticut troops killed in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan since the 2001 terrorist attacks.

Gov. Malloy and Lt. Gov. Wyman Applaud Final Legislative Approval of Bill Protecting Victims of Domestic Violence
Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman are applauding a vote in the State Senate this afternoon to approve a bill the Governor introduced that protects victims of domestic violence by prohibiting the possession of firearms for anyone who becomes subject to a temporary restraining order. The bill, which received approval last week in the House of Representatives, will now be transmitted to the Governor for his signature.
