How we improve health and human services

The Health and Human Services Policy and Planning Division (HHS) in OPM helps improve health care and human service systems in Connecticut. We support children, families, older adults and individuals with disabilities:

  • Develop policies to improve the quality of life for people
  • Coordinate cross-agency efforts, data collection, and planning
  • Manage grant programs
  • Support long-term care planning
  • Work with other groups to improve health access, quality, and safety
