  • Autism Spectrum Disorder Advisory Council (ASDAC): This committee gives advice on initiatives that support people with autism and their families. The ASDAC works with other smaller teams. Led by the Office of Policy and Management (OPM), the goal is to coordinate efforts and move in the same direction to help the people of Connecticut.
Personal Care Attendant (PCA) Workforce Council
  • The PCA Workforce Council was established in 2012 to represent the interests of the state and PCA employers. The Council, and OPM's Office of Labor Relations, negotiates and administers the PCA collective bargaining agreement with the union that represents PCAs, 1199 SEIU-NE. Members of the Council are appointed by the Governor, the Commissioners of the Departments of Social Services and Developmental Services, the State Healthcare Advocate, and leaders in the Connecticut General Assembly (legislature). The PCA Workforce Council receives administrative support from OPM.
